I did soooo many more but I didn't take pics and they are all put in boxes ready to send to the venue next weekend! AHHH!!!  6 days!

I DO letters wrapped in a thick twine.

  • burlap chair sashes, table runners, and aisle runner
  • mason jar lanterns

I can't remember the rest lol..It'll come out in the pictures though!

@markande- here's the short version lol  I used chiffon.

  • Draw a flower shape onto a piece of cardstock to use for your stencil
  • Layer about 6 pieces of chiffon together (depending on the thickness)
  • Cut outa whole lot of flowers.
  • Gently singe the edges with a candle. This will take practice to get it right. the heat will make the edges curl up, but too much will melt it.
  • Stack about 8 (again, depends on the fullness of the piece of chiffon) 'flowers' and arrange them where the petals are staggered.
  • Sew an 'X' in the middle to hold them together. 
  • Cut a few 'petals' out of the chiffon. They don't have to be exact in any way. Just make them look like a half circle.
  • Singe the edges of those ad sew them in the middle of the flower to give it fullness.
  • Sew or glue a broock/button/beads in the middle and you're done!
