So things house relate dhave been moving at a fast pace as of late. Which i could say the same about my tax return. I had my 2009 return amended along with my 2010 in august and was informed that the timeframes for both would be 6-8 wks and 10-12wks. i started calling in october to make sure everything was still on track. I kept being told to 'give it a week or two' as i was still in the timeframe. Flashforward to tuesday november 29th, i was informed that my 2009 nor 2010 was showing up in the system. Mind you, i went into the IRS office and file dout everything, signed, stamped sealed and mailed with the officer, everything at once. I call back wed and was told that somehow, miraculously after i called tues, someone adjusted my account and now my 2009 was showing up and in the process of being 'processed' however my 2010 was still not showing. The rep told me not to be concerned. Maybe when they were done with 2009 they'd start on 2010. Feeling unsure of the last conversation, i called again this morning, spoke to yet another rep and was informed after 2 hrs on the phone of her trying to find what could have possibly happened to my 2010 return that both yrs were scanned into the system together as one, hence why my 2009 was processed and not my 2010.

The problem: Underwriteing will need my last 2yr w2 transcripts and currently they is nothing that says my 2010 has been processed cuz well......it hasn't. They opened up a 'referal' as they call it in hopes that whomever did the 2009 can quickly process the 2010 as i explained te urgency to them. They were very sympathetic and apologetic but i don't know how far that can go. At this point i don't even care when the refund gets here, i just desperately need to have my 2010 processed. We're sooooo close and then this!!!!

the only thing that comes to my mind constantly to help get through this is a exodus 14:14 :the Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still (silent). I'm gonna try to be still and let HIM do His work.

That totally sucks.  I'm sorry.  Buying a house is soooo stressful.  I never realized how much so until now.

Hope everything gets squared away soon for you.  HUGS!!!

We had this problem and The under writer said all they need is the amended taxes and all they needed was for us to go down to the local tax office and get it stamped saying that they received it. And that was it, unfortunately for us our tax guy didn't amend what we need him to and we wasn't able to close on the home.
