I recently posted about my disorganized school causing me to miss the most recent petition dates for clinicals http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/awful-petitioning-news but today I got a letter in the mail and I was offered one of the open
spots for the phlebotomy program! Awhile back I filled out an application and requested to be put on the waitlist for that since I knew I was going to be killing time til nursing clinicals. They told me last year it was a 3 yr wait for the
phlebotomy program (obviously it wasn't)! So I took the spot and I will be finishing my certification the semester (hopefully) right before I get into clinicals FINALLY. :) Not my first choice, but it seems to have all worked out as best as it can for
now.
