So I've diligently collected all of our addresses so that I can do the labels for our Save the Dates tonight but I just realised I haven't given any thought as to HOW to address them.

What's most appropriate:

1) John and Jane Doe and family
2) John, Jane, Emma and Richard Doe
3) Mr. John and Mrs. Jane Doe and family
4) Any suggestions?

The STDs are fairly informal so I'm leaning towards option 1 or 2 but I'm not sure if that's appropriate?

Any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You only need to put all kids' names on it if they are teenagers. Number one seems like the best bet.

Thanks pinkgerbers! I was hoping number 1 was okay as I thought it was the most inclusive. We have a few expectent mothers on the invite list and I wanted them to be sure that the whole family (including babies) would be invited.

We did just Nik and DIna but when my mom recieved hers she was pissed that I didn't put last names on there... so I would do first and last names not too formal for the STD

If you want them to include only themselves than include all their names. Other wise The Doe Family is nice...

You can always be formal with the formal guests and informal with the rest....

Ha ha you girls are funny. I know what you mean though - the first time I saw it written like STDs, I was like "what are they and why are we giving them to all of our guests?!"
