I'm new! I have scoured all these threads and have learned so much. One thing in particular that dressilyme is not good with Organza. Mostly from poor Caramel's experiences!
I've found MY DREAM DRESS on their website and the entire skirt is Organza. It's the skirt that I love about it. It seems so soft and dreamy and so unique and untraditional. I've never seen a dress like this one, I don't even know who the
original designer is so I can buy it direct! This is truely my dream dress. But I'm worried they will make it into something aweful based on their track record with a stiff organza. They have a review on their website of someone who bought this dress
saying "The result is very similar to the one shown in the picture. The quality of the tailoring is actually quite impressive. The
material of the dress on the bottom is completely different from the one in the picture. It was so stiff that it
puffed up in the front and looked like I was wearing a tutu. I had to make some adjustments myself so now it
doesn't look too bad at all."
I asked them if they could make the skirt with georgette fabric instead and they told me they don't have that available, only organza. So what do you think? From your experiences should I trust they could recreate this dress or should I go with
something more traditional and that I like less, like a lace dress, that they are known for doing a great job on?
