This may be a crazy question, but I am not used to dressing up and all this glam. I am wearing Maggie Sottero Adorae and was wondering if I needed a crinoline. Does any know? What all do I need w/ my gown?

I can't quite answer your question, but I learned on the forums yesterday that crinoline is (apparently) optional!  My salon didn't offer it, and I already have a built-in slip and crinoline.  I found out on a forum that lot's of girls buy them for fun, take them to a dress fitting or put them on together for the first time the day of.  After I discovered this I ordered a custom colored crinoline!

I was told I don't need a bra, since its built to not have one, and the seamstress will sew in any help (read: boost) I want!

Thanks Adena! That is what I was thinking about doing. Just getting a colored one, but was not sure how it would look. I guess I will try it out and see.

I had considered getting a mermaid crini for the Adorae, but I'm not sure if it would make the dress less comfortable.  It already has some crini at the bottom, so I think it's just a preference sort of thing.

I had just looked at a mermaid style. I would just want it to show some color under my dress, but that may be an expense that is not needed. : )

Hello-

I just got married on September 4, and was also an Adorae bride. I just wanted to post that I am currently selling my gown- incase anyone is interested.

It's a size 12, in Ivory, no alterations other than tacked in bra cups and the bustle. It includes a Cathedral length gown.

If your interested, email me at tmarieinoh at gmail dot com!

I just joined this website, but purchased ADORAE back in July. I cannot WAIT to get it in!  I have just seen it on me in the sample size. I was just wondering how the dress has looked on the bottom for you ladies, if it fell to flat or if needed to add something?

Hi! I just recently wore my Adorae & loved it!!!!

>> kathy1584: Since the material is quite heavy, I realized that the rouching kind of laid flat at the bottom (front & back) and I didn't like it. My seamstress carefully tucked (sewed) all the rouching at the bottom on the front & the back of my dress following the flow & recreated the beautiful rouched look (see the picture below). I didn't wear any crinolines either, but it poofed out enough for me. For more pictures, check out my page! I hope this advise helps!! ^___^v

Has any of yall dyed the crinoline? My family says my dress is too fancy for it...any pictures?? Its a dream that may not come true! :( lol
