Advice:Groomsman Attire

Okay Ladies, I am getting to the point where I need to start making some decisions about my boys or they will all be up there naked!  (but us gals will look amazing!!!)  So here are the questions I have for y'all.

1.  Buy or Rent?

2.  Tux or Suits?

3.  Did you go to Men's Wherehouse?

4.  Any other pearls of wisdoms?

I rented, but if the boys can afford custom suits that match well go for it!

Renting is deffinately more affordable. If you have enough geoomsmen the mens warehouse has a deal if you rent 5 tuxes the groom gets a free one to keep.

Yea, we are doing the Mens Warehouse because of that deal that they run. It's not too expensive to rent. We haven't gone yet, so I don't know details. I love the look of suits (so does FI) but they are making some tuxes now that really resemble suits, so it's all good!

I got my 2 sons suits at sears on sale for 30% off so I got them both for 60 bucks way cheaper than renting! they are 4 piece suits too!

We rented tuxes from Men's Wearhouse and everything was great. :)  They have a lot of different ensembles and prices.

3.  Did you go to Men's Wherehouse? No. MW is convienient for out of town guys, they can pick up and drop off at their local MW. I've only had bad experiences with them. They wouldn't measure any of my guys without having my name in the system (which apparently is against some tailor ethics code) They ordered sizes that were too big. My DH looked like he has clown pants on for one wedding he was in. I've just never been happy with them and they've often been rude. 

We went with a local store that was so accomodating. I had many OOT guys who cimply called in with measurements. The day before the wedding my brother went in with his kids and their tuxes didn't fit. Jose spent extra time on a holiday tailoring their suits. He did it all right there, which is impressive in itself. I just got a great vibe from this shop.

Make a few visits to different stores, get pricing and see what works for you.
