Advice - Music playing while guests are being seated

Ceremony Music:

Reception Music:

• Bride, Groom and Bridal Party Introduction- "Live your Life" by T.I. and Rhianna
• Cake Cutting- "I Caught Fire" by The Used
• First Dance- "Terrified" by Katharine McPhee and Zachary Levi
• Father/Daughter Dance- "I Loved Her First" by Heartland (Yeah, who didn't see that one coming.)
• Mother/Son Dance-
• Garter Retrieval & Garter/Bouquet Toss- "Toxic" by Britney Spears
• Last Dance- "Beautiful" by Akon & "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars

Most of the reception is Top 40 mostly chosen by our DJ. I have complete faith that he knows what hes doing to get the crowd going. :0)

Our Guest Seating music are all songs that we have loved throughout our courtship. :0)

I am glad to see this post because I was just wondering if 4 songs was too many for the Prelude. We are using these songs during the seating of our guests:

FI gave me the Wedding DJ app for Xmas, to use in Jamaica, but I haven't even looked at it yet! I only have 2 songs chosen, too (bride's entrance and our 1st dance).

4:05 pm- Prelude Music Begins Playing (No lyrics in any music)

@ 4:30 everyone should be at the back of the ceremony site ready to start the processional.

Cocktail Hour - Light/contemporary music (like michael buble)

Bridal party enters- I had different songs for the couples as they entered (MIL/FIL- Save the last dance for me, MOB/FOB- whole lotta love, MOH/BM- Back in Black, BM/GM- DJ got us fallin in love

Full Reception play list (some requests will be allowed - not sure how we will do this yet) we had some specifice requests, but our do not play list was more stringent- IE no YMCA, chicken dance, etc!
