So... one week before the wedding, no rain was in the forecast. Sun, sun, sun, mid 80's, perfect. A day before the wedding, thunder and rain in the forecast. Totally put me in a horrible mood the day of the wedding.
The whole day I felt like nothing went as planned.. =( After the ceremony got started I felt good, until the rain started to come down like nobody's business shortly after dinner was starting to be served. Everything got all out
of wack, everyone got wet, nothing went on time as planned, I cried, it was terrible. Out of all of it, though, everyone still seemed to have a good time... thanks to our hosted bar. I should've thought to get canopies for the reception
area, and I wouldn't have felt so bad about the rain. Nobody thought to mention it to me, and I had a million things going through my mind I didn't think of it. At least the rain would let up at some points through the night, but I just
felt like it was all a big huge mess. =( I'm over it now but still disappointed.
