Is anyone doing airbrushed makeup for their wedding day? My makeup trial (regular makeup) was awful and now I am looking for a new artist. Does anyone have any recommendations? THANKS!

I did two airbrush trials and one regular trial.  I ended up choosing the regular foundation artist because she rocked!

My first airbrush trial was done by Makeup by Chantel.  She definitely took time to do my makeup (no rushing) and it lasted all day!  I felt like I looked really cakey and like I was wearing too much though.  Could have been the colors... See e-pics in bio.  I was going to do another trial run with her to tweak the look, but she ended up booking a bride for my same wedding date, so we didn't.  I'm sure she'd work with you on what you want to get the look you want though, so she's worth looking into.

The other airbrush trial I had done was by Cynthia Sally, an artist that was highly recommended on the Knot's local boards.  I hate posting bad reviews on people, but I would NOT recommend her.  The day of the trial, she double booked my appointment so I had to come earlier.  Her other appt. came about 20 minutes into mine, so she totally rushed and was distracted.  The airbrush foundation lasted maybe 3 hours, she didn't put eyeliner or mascara on me so my eyes looked really tired, and the colors were all wrong and left me looking pasty.  I looked worse coming out than I did coming in.

If you're willing to do one more trial with regular foundation, I highly recommend Ryan Jaeger, who I will be using.  A few other PW brides recommended her, and I couldn't be happier with my trial.  That foundation lasted all day too, AND my skin wasn't shiny by the end of the day like the airbrush left it!
