Can anyone tell me where to find all the rules we need to know for flying? I haven't flown anywhere since May 2008!! Sad I know. So anyway, I know there are new rules regarding luggage, what you can bring on the plane with you, etc. I know nothing and FI has never flown so he is no help.

hope these help!! as for luggage prices and things like that, some of it may be specific to what airline you are flying. Be sure to look at those specifics!!

Go online at the website of the airport you are using. Many things have changed! For instance when we went to Cancun last year on Spirit, you couldn't bring a carry on bag.  When we flew Delta for our honeymoon, you could bring a carry on bag but there were size restrictions and checked bags were 25.00 each and if they weighed over fifty pounds it was more money.

Yeah check TSA and your airlines baggage rules. We had to pay 25 for each checked bag but TSA allowed a cross stitch needle which by the way they didn't even find lol I also read that if you have anything that TSA allows but might be difficult to bring like my needle for my cross stitch then print it off from TSA website so they can see it is allowed. I didn't have a problem but I thought it was a good idea.
