I've got a start on a few things on the go but have to shop for more stuff before I get too say I'm done *lol. We usually get a real tree but because we're travelling for a bit this holiday, it was easier to skip the tree then come back to mess of needles in the house. Then I was chatting with my neighbor who was super nice and gave me an old artificial tree he bought about 8 years ago, he was freshly divorced and wasn't fussy so it's a bit of a charlie brown tree *lol, but I'm just so happy to have one!!!! All our tree stuff is shiny so this year I'm gonna go with the flow of Charlie Brown casual and string popcorn and bake some lime, lemon and apples in the oven with cinnamon and then hang them with some ribbon :). Then downstairs I'm gonna go for the sparkle!

Wondering if anyone's started decorating for the holidays yet?? pics please :).

we usually recycle ornaments, cuz we have collected so many over the years...and we usually have a color theme. so this year we're going with green/yellow with splashes of silver/gold...still need to buy our tree though.

ambersmith - ur decorations sound so fun! we look forward to a real tree every year. i always wanna opt for a smaller one but my DH is always wanting ones that barely fit the house. last year he had to saw off a couple inches from the bottom!!!

Everything is done except the tree, which I hope to do this week! I'll post pics when it's all done!

we put all our decor up yesterday! our tree is too cute!

Well I got the fireplace mantel done, a few lights outside are hung and the treee is up but bare except for lights, I need to get some things from the grociers before I can do anymore work on it, and I woke up to SNOW :). It's starting to feel a bit like Christmas *smiles*.

DH put lights up ALL OVER the outside of the house ....Ive started pulling stuff out ...my DH insists on a real tree so I am waiting for the tree and then Ill be going to town inside

We put up our tree and the house decorations last night...sorry i don't have any pictures with me at work.  We had our company Christmas party this past weekend already, so it sort of put me into the mood :)

we took the tree down last night (i can't do real b/c of my allergies) and i put the lights and balls on it.  we were supposed to finish putting the ornaments on tonight, but when i came home from work, DH had already put the ornaments on and a string of lights up.  he wanted to surprise me!  it was very sweet, BUT i was a little sad because decorating the tree is my favorite thing.  o'well....my DH did a very sweet thing and his heart was in it.  i'll put up the rest of the decorations later this week.  I just love Christmas!!!!!!
