I was on wedding bee and I keep seeing Church Street Bridal based out of Lynchburg, VA.

I went to the website and it seems legit. You can get actual designer dresses for a few hundred dollars instead of thousands. I do not know about customer service or anything other than what I read but I have never heard it mentioned on here. Does anybody have an experince here? Also it seems to have a pretty good rating under vendor reviews. anyways just thought I would share

Their main office is in VA, but they are in fact a replica company. There is nothing wrong with replica gowns, but you want to make sure you have legitamite. On a forum ( I dont have the URL sorry) I saw some horror stories from that shop.

If you want designer replicas, try Jasmine's Bridal. Beautiful quality and craftsmanship. You can see their examples on their Facebook

and their products on their website

jasminesbridalshop.com

They also make any gown that you like, you just have to send them detailed photos :)

oh they are under vendor reviews on this site and it said they sell sample gowns form Kleinfelds. I did not know they are replicas. That's why I was wondering if anyone on here has used them. I never know what to believe on the internet that's why I like to come here and get honest opinions.

I saw that too.  I thought they were running a shop with the proceeds benefitting the YWCA programs.  The discussion said that they got their goods from Kleinfeld's and she also showed the designer's tags on some of the accessories.  It looked like an awesome steal.

They are not a replica company. @Caelasmom is correct. It is a non-profit company that receives donations of designer dresses. Proceeds of the sales benefit the local YWCA programs. Some of the dresses may be discontinued, slightly damaged, samples, etc. But, they are are not replicas.

Also if you visit wedding bee, one of the members is volunteering there and has posted tons of dresses for people to see. Actual bee members have purchased from there and have written threads on it. Go to weddingbee.com and just search Church Street Bridal and go from there.

My mistake, I guess I was thinking of a different company with a similar name :)

They are not replicas. Kleinfelds donate their dresses and samples to Church Street and they sell them to support the Lynchburg YWCA's domestic abuse services and other programs for women and children in need.
You can visit here for wedding bees who have purchased gowns - http://classifieds.weddingbee.com/topic/the-sample-gown-gold-

Church Street Bridal gets samples from wedding salons like Kleinfeld and designers like Fancy in New York.  I have been to the shop and I have seen the boxes come in from Kleinfeld with Kleinfeld tags still on them.

I was the one who started the talk about Church Street Bridal on the Wedding Bee and The Knot.  I stumbled upon the place and was stunned by the Kleinfeld tags.  I was THRILLED that samples that Kleinfeld and others no longer use were being sold a) at prices that brides on a modest budget coule afford and b) to support services for survivors of domestic abuse and others in need.

I even took a picture of a box that was sent to them with Kleinfeld's return address.  I'll post it when I get home tonight.  :)
