Thanking my lucky stars we paid majority of vendors early, but still had:

Flowers, Photog, Transportation & Balance of Venue.....

I really was caught off gaurd how early they wanted payment.

Photog I can pay that day, but flowers were due 2 weeks and Venue is due Monday.

Check your contracts ladies and make a note on when & what!

It's AMAZING how fast in 4 days how much money you are spending.

I want to throw up...a lot.

Oh I KNOW!!!  Thank God I paid the majority of the florist a few months ago, I just need to pay delivery and taxes (which is still roughly $500 - gotta love Chicago taxes).  But we owe the balance to the venue the week of, or in 2 weeks, the DJ balance and the church.  FML.

I hear.  I'm dirt poor again!

FI & I didn't take into account the 8.75 sales tax on TOP of our Venue minumum PLUS 18% service charge.

FML is right! lol

We had to pay the balance for the venue today so I feel super poor!  It seems money is going left and right.

I know what you mean, this week I have paid for flowers, dress alterations, make up trial and day, hair trial, church and choir. I have also put money in envelopes for the day for entertainer, caterer, 1st drink, children supervision!!!

As I now have no job giving out all this money seems wrong, but we were committed and had saved most of the money by then.

But just think ladies what great days we will have!! H x

Oh I hear you! I'm looking forward to the wedding for obvious reasons, but I'm looking forward to not feeling like I'm broke the moment my paycheck comes in. BTW...only one more paycheck before my wedding...YIKES!!!!

Poor?  I dont feel poor, I am poor. I been on strict food budget for months, I dont know if I can pay my next rent due to problems with my disability and the new rules   for disability pay.  I  cant pay the  100 pounds that the council wants to make this wedding legal, they just ask for more and more money all the time and it seams we cant  do what they want or give them enough to make them happy.  So far we have paid  double the amount they said it would cost on thier homepage, we cant afford flowers, hair or makeup anymore.

The last money we have was supposed to go to  the wedding cake, but that looks like it have to go too, just so we can legally marry.

i got my last paycheck before the wedding today and i don't even see it LOL payment, payment, payment. 

Me, I can't imagine, FH is paying for the whole wedding.
