I just can't seem to motivate myself to do much of anything... especially wedding stuff.  I hope the lack of momentum isn't going to last long... Anyone else having this problem?  If not.. what are you working on now?

I've been planning for less than a month and am already losing momentum.  Haha.

So far I have picked a date, selected my venue, my bridesmaids, wedding colours, started to think about invitations and bought what I need to make my Save the Dates... I have finalized my guestlist and made a list of addresses.

That's about it.  I am REALLY excited about my wedding, I just haven't done much wedding stuff lately.  I have been sick for a while though (cold/flu), so I think that definitely has something to do with it.

This week I will be making my Save the Dates... I need to go dress shopping soon, I suppose.  I am kinda scared to go dress shopping.

So, yes, I am having the same problem :)

UGH SAME HERE!! I've had so much drama, and work's been a bitch so I kinda put it on the back burner.

All of our big decisions have been made, but now that it's time to start working on the little things, I have no desire to do any of it.

I need to pick invitations, go dress shopping, decide on favors, pick bridal party attire, ask two more girls to be bride's maids, etc etc

I have the date, church, reception hall, most music, buying the invites Friday and have all my inspiration pics and guest list.  I feel like I havent done anything yet. Like I have not thing i can hold.

OK I hunkered down the other day with FI and we finished all our table numbers.  That made me feel a lot better.  :)  I'll try and get our moss letters done this weekend and post pics of everything next week hopefully.

I think I finally found my photographer... hopefully will be meeting her next weekend.  I guess that is one of the "biggies"...

I know, since I don't really have anything to physically show for the work I have done, I don't feel like I have done ANYTHING!  But I guess a lot of that stuff I won't really be doing until next summer.  It really just is the time sensitive stuff that we NEED to get done early.

BTW, I was SO relieved when we started this thread!!!  :)

I find that I go in spurts, I just bought my dress, so now I am in the mood to do more, but then I will go a few weeks without really doing anything! But we have plenty of time :)

I totally went through the slump as well.  My fiancee and I have been engaged for a year now and still have almost a year to go!  We have done most of the major things except putting the deposit on the videographer and limos...we know who we are going with just trying to scrape the money together.  I find it is the details are the hardest decisions so far.  The linen colors, napkins things like that.  I just started looking at invitations and I know they are going to be a hard time.

I agree with sophieblossom - I go in spurts to I am on a rampage right now with things but I know once the holidays get closer the wedding will be on hold...haha
