welcome to everyone who has joined recently, for awhile there was just a few of us on here :) i love having everyone!

so, anyone have any funny stories regarding not being engaged, being mistaken for mr and mrs?

i'll go....

so, whenever i make dinner reservations, or tell the hostess what name to put it under, i always say Steele (my future last name) and glance over at Sean and he's always smiling :)

also, sean signed up for a Dominick's card (grocery store) and they gave him two cards per account, so i have one...and now everytime i shop they always say "thank you mrs. steele" and it makes me giggle. when his mom was visiting us she was shopping with me and they said it, and she was like "geeze, everyone must know you're waiting on that ring!"

yes everytime me and fi are around his family they call me madame ffi name and in his culuture that's mrs. So yeah it's totally weird.

Also going to my kids school they call me mrs.X my kids last night which is not funny. I Always have to correct them. I really can't wait to have the same name as my kids.

Yes! My mom is a realtor and she has ffi and I in her contact list together so we both automatically get sent house listing in our designated budget and when they pop up in our emails it says his name & my name + his last name hehe! It's fun to see it in writing sometimes! Also, I went to a bridal show with my mom a few weeks ago and I felt half happy half dorky walking around with a "Bride" sticker on my shirt and saying a faux-wedding date out loud to the vendors everytime they said, "Congratulations! When's the big day?!" haha! Oh well, it was fun. I'm sure it will be more fun when it's true! :)

I teach high school special ed and my kids are always asking me when the name change is going to happen.  I have a very difficult dutch last name so my students just call me Ms. V and none of them can remember how to spell my last name (I've made it extra credit on their first quiz of the year) so they're counting down the days til I'm Mrs. Olson.....so much easier
