I am looking for a couple good seamstress recommendations for gown alterations and pressing from real people i - as opposed to wedding dress shops who get a little on the side I am sure.  I have a few leads but the prices just seem a little outrageous and things like pressing and cleaning are extra. I believe that if you are touching my new new gown with your hands and getting it dirty, you should clean it. So I am looking for some new locations and seamstresses. 

Any thoughts Boston ladies?

We do major Gown alterations at Seams in Wenham and do NOT get gowns dirty in the process.  Any shop that does that should clean it for you! 

I've taken all alterations while I've been at BU to Brunhilde and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. She works out of her apartment in the Fenway area and she knows her stuff. We've talked wedding dresses before too. Her number is 617-266-6782 and beware, she might joke around with you haha. Don't take her too seriously :)
