What, if any, "Florida" type elements are you incorporating into your wedding?

Our venue is a beautiful "old Florida" mansion on the St. Johns River.  That's as Florida as it gets!  And, it's perfect for me because I've lived in Fla since I was a little girl.  :)  yay!

Hmmm, not a beach theme so nothing like that but my church is a historical landmark in Sarasota. It was restored by the Albritton Family (the people who make Albritton Orange Juice/fruit company). My church was built in 1915 when the first settlers in the area wanted a community church - so it is about as old southern Florida as it gets - you can see pics and a bio on my bio page. I will probably get some of my e-pics taken at The John and Mable Ringling Museum - Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus founders - unique to Florida. See www.ringling.org. If I do a grooms cake, it will probably be a "house divided cake" with Tampa Bay Rays on one side and Philidelphia Phillies on the other - the FI and I have a major beef with eachother when it comes to baseball.

I'm editing this because the venue has changed again but this time for good. We're getting married on the banks of the St. johns river.

I live in TN so a beach theme is exotic to me, lol.  (no beaches here!)
