Over on the freebies, discounts, deals, & steals group we have a lot of posts that are good for a day or two and then they are over.  If I edit the thread to say Dead deal it pushes it up to the very top.  Is there any way to delete these posts or move them down?  Or do I just need to keep bumping the valid posts to the top.  TIA

As far as I know, the only way to move a thread down is to post on threads beneath it.  Bump them up to bury the one you want gone.

Does anybody else have any suggestions?

You could flag it and asked for it to be deleted by the PW staff.

Thank you both.  It seems group owers can now bump and delete posts.  However if I delete the post it will cause that person's post counts go down.  I'm sure that would make for some very displeased PWer's.

I'm getting to this late but for this purpose I think you could just post to a thread to say the deal is over or was just for one day - would that suffice?

I thought owners could delete a thread.  I deleted one in the b-pics group thread earlier.  Whoever had posted it had edited it to just say "deleted", so I deleted the whole thread (there had been no responses).
