Where are you guys in the planning process? Any major things to get checked off the list?

I need to figure out the invitiations situation but besides that, just little stuff like menu cards, escort cards, etc. ... but not doing anymore wedding planning until the new year.

Once the new year hits, I AM GOING TO FREAK OUT!!

How are things going for you guys? (almost 4 months to go~ finally)

I'm so behind, but i'm doing this all out-of-state so it's been difficult to decide on vendors. I'll be flying home in 2 weeks so that I can smooth out all the details.

although they're all narrowed down to a couple of choices, I have yet to book a photographer, videographer, florist, cake, band/dj...

omg. i should skip sleeping and really get cracking!

OMG...I feel as if I have a mountain of things to do and so little time to get them done.  None of my stationary is done, i.e., invitations, menu cards, programs, escort cards, etc but I pretty much have all my vendors except my make-up person.  I know I will be freaking out soon!  I also would like to DIY my aisle runner....yikes!

dyvacg>> when are you planning to send your invites? I think you're ok with the rest of the stationary - you have sometime for thsoe. AND at least you have most of your vendors! (look at me..boo)

I'll be sending my invites by Jan 20...hope that's not too late. I think a 3.5 month advance is ok...i did send out STDs, so at least ppl already know the date.

Phannie...the plan is to try and send them out by the 23rd of this month with the response date somewhere around the 1st - 2nd week of February.  We have a 2nd list based on the responses.  The guest count is 125 so I was hoping to do it a little early so that if I have to send out the second round of invites it doesn't seem as if they were thought of last.  My planner suggests that I send them out by February 3rd.

I tried to get the vendors done last year so I wouldn't have to pay the 2010 price. 

our invitations were sent out last month, FI just ordered his suit last night, bridesmaid dresses have been ordered, vendors have all been booked! now it's crunch time ladies!! April 10th will be here in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you guys nervous or excited, I think I am nervously excited..if there is such a thing!

OMG-- I'm excited but trying not to think that it's 3 months away! We've got the major stuff booked but I haven't even seen proofs of my invite yet.  I think this forum is going to stress me out. :)

I'm so excited!  I can't believe it's only three months until our wedding!!!

I had a very productive weekend and have ordered, purchased or reserved pretty much everything I need for the wedding.  Of course I still have to take all those supplies that I have ordered or purchased and create those wonderful details I'm envisioning but I'm feeling really good about where I'm at in the planning process :)

soon2be - We're date twins! *clap* I can't believe you sent your invites out already!  You are way ahead of me on that :-)  I'm shooting for February 10th as my mail date *crosses fingers*

dluvs2trvl~ yes we are!! yay!! the only reason ours were sent out a little earlier is because we're having a DW, otherwise we would have sent them out next month :)
