I am pretty much done.. Just have to:

- Get gifts for wedding party

- pick out favors

- buy me shoes and jewelry

- Finishing paying off venue/caterer, photographer, and decorator

I got engaged last Septemeber 2009, so I did everything as early as possible. I even bought my dress in November 2009 and now I want another one. I love the dress, but think I bought too early. I just had a cousin to get married, and our dresses almost look exactly alike, and I got mine first.

I won a dj at a bridal show. My mom's bff is doing our cakes free. I got my cousin who does wedding decorations for a living to only charge me $500 to do the entire wedding.. and that includes: candelabras, pillars, toasting flutes, serving set, vases, uplights, table number holders, candles, flowers.. you name it

thank GOD

-booked our officant

-booked the photographer! (better rate, since 2011 always seems to see an increase in cost)

-found my dress and my maid of honor's dress

-just finished Save the dates, going out

-started collecting addresses

-finished a banner for the reception, getting ready to start up more

-made an excel spreadsheet of cost, budget

-found our reception spot (our place)

-set up timeline for "what to do, week of"(buy flowers.makes desert.make cake.etc)

-made a menu plan with the chef

still need to do engagement photos before the cold really hits here.

April 16th here! Here's what I got so far (not much)

1. Booked the venue (ceremonys at the venue)

2.Got the Judge

3.Got my dress (I LOVE IT!! It's so big, lol!)

4.Picked out and ordered my bridesmaids dresses (we did it all in less than an hour. There are only two of them and I let them decide, I just picked the color)

5. Got the Photographer

6.Got the DJs

7.Blocked rooms at the hotel for guest, set up myself in a room the night before also

8.Guestlist is done(sorta, we are trying to cut it down), got most addresses too

9. Picked favors-we're doing donations to an Autism research foundation, my neice has autism. I find that the favors for weddings can be a waste so at least the money we spend is going to a good cause.

10. Honeymoons booked-Sandals Antigua, here we come!

11.Found a boarder for the dog-I really wanted him to be in the wedding bc he is family but he's way too big and crazy

12. Found a woman on weddingbee's who offered to do our engagement photos for free as long as she could use them in her portfolio! Couldn't pass it up, otherwise we weren't going to get them done.

13. Found and booked a photographer for my boudior shoot (got one of the outfits too)

Thats about it. Making that list made me realize I did alot of the major stuff but I have a ton of other details to worry about, lol! Good luck to all you ladies!!
