So ilove the idea of posting a topic about how our planning is going and making things a little more interesting in finding out who the other 2011 Brides are.

So far not a whole lot has come together for my planning of the wedding i did however take the first leap on saturday and went to David's Bridal and i do have to say it wasn't the "dress shopping expirience" i wanted. I wanted there to be a room where my friends and family would oooo and ahhh at the dress i pick out. Sorry but i don't want to be drammed in a little cubby with a girl telling me that you can die your nasty looking shoes to match my bridesmaid Dress sorry but no thanks for me.

I do however think that it may be a little soon to start searching for a dress becuase i have about 60 lbs to lose before i get married and buying a dress and and buying a dress 6 months from now i know is going to be a totally different expirience.

I did pick out my colors though Hot pink and black accented with White and Bright Green. I haven't decided on the flowers i am torn between gerber daisy's or bright pink roses tough decision. I have always wanted a boutque of roses with white roses in the mix so that is what makes me lean toward roses but the gerber daisy's have so many things you can do with them. I guess since i have a year and a half to decide i can wait a bit.

HAHA.... my experience was not the best Davids. I think its the place you need to go during a weekday in the mid-morning. That way you do not have too many brides... I think I got the stink eye from some one there, b/c I was making fun of ME in a dress and my parents where laughing. Yeah, I didn't know that was the next dress she was trying on was the same. About the flowers... if you want roses for your boutique and daisies for your centerpieces thats ok! 

Ugh, we went to Davids too, and stayed maybe 3 minutes!!  The store up here is really ghetto, and it was not a good experience at all!

I hope you have an easier time dress shopping! You should check out this site for some good deals on beautiful dresses! I think I found mine on there, I am just waiting for the seller to let me know if I can buy it!
