ATTN: September brides!!

im sure there is something like this on here, but i am still not PW savvy, so idk how to find threads liek this. lets have an intro! so, when is your date? how are you all doing with planning? other then minor details, what are some of your bigger to-dos left?

i will start, hi! im kelly, marrying drew on sept 8th in the philadelphia area! we were actually just engaged this passed christmas, so its been a whirl-wind engagment and nonstop planning! i think i have found my true calling though, because i LOVE wedding planning! i am constantly getting comments on how quick i have done things, which leaves me wondering what i am forgetting, because this seems to have been way too easy! i have had everything pretty much set in stone since the end of january, and feel like i am now just shopping for details. i think the biggest to-do i have left is finding transportation for the bridal party. i cant wait to "meet" the rest of my septembrides!

September 1st here! SO excited! We started off really strong with tons of things locked down really early (we had the venue, dress, DJ, Florist, Photographer and food a year ago!).... now we are behind! Ah! I am in graduate school right now so I am just trying to get through finals so I can focus every ounce of my energy into all the fun details!

Still need: To invite people!!! We did save the dates, so I am not AS worries, as most people are in town - Just want to get them out soon so I can start getting RSVPs

@cjanewed- we technically still need to invite people too, but im not constiering that a big to-do because im not sending invites until the first week of july haha. we also did save the dates, so hopefully people already have it on their calendar!!

@uhlease- i saw that board, and i think the last post was from january or something haha! id be talking to myself over there, so lets stir things up!

i thought that was a diff board. the last post was in april. haha, still its not active enough!!

I'm a September 2nd bride! I know I have a few date twins on here :) -we should definitely start some topics on our group board.

I'm working on addressing the invitations now. Not sending them out until first week of July as well :) I'm slowly going through and addressing when I have time. Ummm, I am trying to figure out day of timeline sort of things. Little details, kwim? Transportation as well-our venue has a shuttle service to the venue, but I have make sure it's all booked and able to transport guests that don't want to drive!! (That was why we picked the hotel we did!)

Umm, I can't wait until my makeup and hair trial and my first fitting. I don't know when I'll do any of those yet, but I'm already excited!

FI and I finally have a day that we don't have anything going on Sunday, so we will get to be lazy and just have fun and hopefully talk about wedding stuff! (Like finally deciding if we will have a videographer)

I'm September 2nd Bride right here!! yeah Uhlease we have to start a thread!! everything is coming together just fine. I'm so excited still waiting for my dress to arrive. A little nervous about that because its set to arrive just one month before the wedding.

All the major things are booked.  I'm thinking of little things that need to be done. I have a millions going through my head. I'm going to try to do some D.i.y projects this weekend.

I'm a September bride.

I'm a member on the September board, but find I was checking in and nothing much was going on.  So, I'm all for getting it moving.  It's reasonable that it would start to pick up, being that we are fast approaching September!  How exciting! 

hopefully more september brides will come out of the woodwork the closer we get! i feel like every month has a million brides, and we only have a handful!! daluvelynic-- what kind of diy projects are you getting into? i havent started anything diy yet!
