AW: my Pronovias Laica

This is my dress, Pronovias Laica:

I've been in and out bridal shops lately and tried on different kind of dresses. I mostly adored the A-line ones, but my figure works well with an Mermaid too. But woman-I-am I have to be kinda insecure about my hips. But my 2 close friends were so true last time I tried a similar dress on, it works for me!

So when I noticed PW bride Calipaddy was selling this dress, I totally felt in love with her. And I just had to be honest, I'm a bride on a budget and new dresses in the NL start around $1500 and I could buy her for waaaaaay less.
Thursday night my friends out Boston visit her to check the dress, and they told me also it's absolutely gorgeous. So all together with the extra pics she send I decided to buy it from her.

She will stay with my friends till Thanksgiving (after a bad experience with sending packages to the US, Im way too paranoid it might get lost) and they will bring it with them when they meet up with FI & me. After my trip I'll take her home with me.

*sigh* Have to admit that I'm getting real nervous now. To me the dress is one of the most important things for our BIG day, and that is already bought now!

It's just hard to believe she's really mine! There would be another girl fitting the dress the night my friends went to her house too, and I was so afraid that she would pay the money right away and the dress was gone.
But there was something with her car, so she didnt show up *sigh*

Especially cause I was almost buying a dress way WAY over my budget, and Im happy I sticked to "not to do it". It's kinda scary cause i didnt tried this dress on, but I did a dress that is really similar to it. And i know that i wanted to have a small waistline dress (a little bit of mermaid) and it will flow into a a-line skirt. So thats just totally me!

@ MH123, she was willing to send it off to me in the NL. But I had to pay extra money for shipping, and I heard bad stories about taxes that I should have to pay. And like I said, FI birthday presents that I sent off to him August '08 are somewhere on planet earth, they cant track the package anymore.

And I live in a small appartment, with no room to store it myself. My parents are just getting used to the fact that I will get married so dont want to ask them to store it over there yet, so all of that made me decide it. But yeah its hard!!

I was thinking to call official Pronovias retailers around here, to see if they got the dress, but its out of 2007 so probably they dont.
