AW: Yelle's new e-ring setting & band

So I've been on this board for over a year now, and from the beginning, when FI gave me this heirloom ring, he said I could change the setting if I wanted, it had been changed before as well. Initially I didn't, because I loved loved loved it, I would have loved any ring from him. 

But after a year of considering changing the setting, I did it! We went to the shop, I picked out a simple white gold setting, as well as a wedding band! And next week we order FI's band! 

This was my previous setting:

I am happy that we had our engagement photos done when I hadn't changed the setting yet - that way we have beautiful photos of the ring and how it was when he gave it to me. 

As soon as we picked up the new setting from the store, I felt relief. I was worried this whole year that I would regret changing an heirloom ring, but when I saw how beautiful it was in a simple setting, I knew I made the right choice!
