The weather was absolutely gorgeous! Considering it was kinda rainy the days before we felt really blessed to have such great weather on our day. Everyone ended up running a bit behind. I think no one thought of the labor day traffic. 1 of our
photgraphers came to the hotel room for the getting ready shots and to get pics of me & the 'maids with the downtown backdrop. It was awesome, even though I was almost run over by a cabbie!

After taking the pics we rushed off to the venue and made it just in time. Unfortunately our dj (who was awful) wasn't ready. So we ended up waiting 20 minutes for him to get his stuff together only to have him have us walk out to music we
didn't choose. My dad had to calm me down I was cussing so much, lol. I'm laughing now but I didnt think it was funny at all that day. We got through most of the ceremony without a hitch minus my DOC disappearing with my vows :( and then arguing with me
telling me I had them (mid ceremony!). After the reading of the vows and a funny poem my sister wrote for us, we got to have our first kiss as husband and wife (and also let out a sigh of relief). During the cocktail hour we got to take some pretty
awesome pics. I cannot wait for the pros we did a lot as the sun was setting so they looked beautiful.
our first dance, dh was cracking me up!
mother/son dance
We made our entrance to the reception and ate (well dh ate I couldn't find an appetite) he said the food was delicious! We had our cake cutting shortly afterwards (it was sooo good french vanilla with creme brulee filling). Then we had the
bouquet & garter toss which was hilarious because the guys all but ran from the garter. Then the photobooth opened. OMG if you can, get one! I couldn't stop laughing. People were loving it! Overall, it was a great day! There were quite a few mishaps
but we took in stride and remembered that the good far outweighed the bad!
