Have you ladies experienced your baby's hiccups? Ours does a few times a day. It's a funny feeling with rhythmic belly twitch movements. At first i was concerned but read that it's quite normal and it's a sign of a healthy strong breathing baby... so i guess hiccup away baby :)

My daughter got the hiccups evey night for like the last 3months of my pregnancy.  My DH was working 2-10 at the time and when he got home from work from the day we found out I was prego till I the day she was born he would read a book to her (the night before I was induced he read the little engine that could.)  She would get so excited and get the hiccups.  It was amazing, my favorite part was she would always move over to the side of the bed he slept on it when he started reading.  You could see my whole tummy move and then it would be a big hard lump on my left side, towards the end it hurt she didnt have much room.  The last month or so she it was like she had her own little clock in there, between 9:45-9:55 she would move over and get ready.

The day she was born every time her daddy talked to her she would get the hiccups.  It was like that the first 3 days,  I felt bad for her and told him to stop talking to her.  He just got her to excited.

With my son about the last few months he got them every time I would eat!  The girls at work would laugh it was like clock work with in a few minutes of me eating my tummy would just start flickering.  Let me tell you 1year later the boy loves food.  The only thing he hasn't liked is oatmeal.

That is so sweet!  I just felt them for the first time this morning.  I probably have felt them before but they were stronger. I am feeling him so much more these days (28 weeks).

It was sweet!!!!

Ladies have daddy read to the baby, it might seem wierd but it is a great way for them to bond.  They hear everthing inside there.  Once I delivered my daughter of course she was crying and when she heard daddy's voice she instantly stopped, it was familiar and comforting to her.

We signed up for Scolastic book club, you get 3books a month for $12something.  We started as soon as we found out, the books came address Baby Boyer. You only keep the books you want and end at anytime.  We did it for 1year never recieved a duplicate book.  Now she is 3 we still read them and she sits in her room looking at them all the time.  She even brings them out and says "mommy I want to read you a story"  I love it!

Start them early!!!!

Awww kymkam, what a sweet story :)

I wish DH would read to the baby, it's hard enough to even get him to talk to the baby every night but I often have to remind him.
