Of course I've heard the best postition to get PG in is missonary, girl on top=gravity etc, but of course you still can get PG that way, but here is a prob TMI silly question. Does anyone "do anything" post-BD to up their chances of getting PG? Like I've had friends who were trying to get PG for awhile say they laid with their legs up in the air for awhile afterwards, didn't pee right away afterwards, etc. Has anyone heard of these things actually helping (or hindering) your chances? Of course you can get PG in any position, but wasn't sure what or if anyone does right after to help their chances.

I've heard the myths about positions and not really sure it makes a huge difference. However; my gf who just got pregnant told me her Dr advised her not to pee right after BD'ing even though that's what we always do to prevent UTI's. She said it drove her absolutely crazy BUT it's a means to an end right? ;)

I honestly don't think putting your legs up in the air will make a difference either....just my opinion knowing how the science of it all works. lol

My RE told me that stuff is all myth...the sperm that are going to make it to the egg do so right away...so not peeing or sticking your legs in the air does nothing....same for using those Instead cups or soft cups that are meant to catch your menstrual blood...and in fact that can cause infections...

All I know is that against all odds ( there were a lot of them like the BCP that I was using) I still somehow got pregnant. I always pee right after sex because I get UTI waaay too easy. I really think it matters if you put your legs up in the air or if you go pee. If the little swimmer found its way to the egg, nothing will stop it... Lol. Not even gravity.

I say do whatever makes you feel good :) Sometimes placebo effect can be a powerful thing. If you believe it works them just do it :)
Just be careful anout UTI....

I've always been sure to pee right away, too. And I thought legs in the aire seems silly bc you'd have to have your whole pelvis up, not just your legs I'd think. Jw what everyone else has heard or thought :)
