How did you pick the baby name? I have 2 kids already, both of them with unique(not common) names. I want this baby(girl) to have an unique name too, but husband do not like name too much. We have picked a boy name, but know that we know that we are having a baby girl dont know what to name her. The name that I like is Beloved Gia, the name put together means "beloved god is gracious."

We made lists of everything we thought of, we even startd watching the credits from TV & movies to see if any names jumped out at us, then when they arrived we went through the list to see what suited them!

My son is named George - which is after my DH's uncle, his godfather and the priest that baptized him, they all have passed.  I admit I wasn't a fan of George at first but I gave in and gave DH his way.  Now I can't imagine my son being named anything other :)

What about flipping it to Gia Beloved?

our daughters name is SO perfect for her/us that she basically named herself. once we found her name, it ALL made sence.

Mya Liane B. - back story, we wanted her initals to be MLB (major league baseball) because DH and i met (and pretty much fell in love instantly) at a baseball game

reasons for Mya:(my-uh) means mother & emerald. if you transverse the letters, it spells MAY. she was concieved in may, and mays birthstone is the emerald, which is also DHs birth month. now, at almost 2, she is SUCH a little mother! she feeds, burps, and rocks all of her dolls and animals, so thats just yet another reason why her name is perfect for her

reason for Liane: we knew it had to be an "L" name. but didnt like how any sounded with Mya. i found the name Leanne/Leighann on a name website and we really liked how it sounded, and one of the alternate spellings for it was Liane. my middle name and my mothers first name are both Diane. so the spelling of Liane (leanne) is a tribute to me and my mom!

Aw Kelly!! I love your reasoning!! Very special indeed!

Hubby and I had lists for both girl and boy names. I knew that I wanted Grace for her middle name as a tribute to my Aunt Gracie who is a "play aunt" but an aunt to me nevertheless! She is deceased now, but she was very special to our family. We were debating between two girl names and Natalie just kept coming back to me. It is so beautiful and has a nice ring to it and that's what we chose for her first name!
