Wow is there any way that you could get your point across to them? It is your party you need to fo what you will like.

Maybe they are just setting you up for what you really want??? hint hint Just making you think it will be all that and then surprise your with what you have asked for. They still have time to change there plans and go party on there own with out you another day...

You sound like me! I had no interest whatsoever in bar hopping and getting completely hammered at my bachelorette party. Which was difficult to convey because my sister (who's 6 years younger than me) was doing the planning and she still loves that kind of partying.

I wasn't looking forward to the night at all, and I just went with it and ended up being the one who drank a about 3 drinks and that's it. I almost ended up being the DD! Thankfully though, no one got ridiculously drunk and we all had a good time being silly and giggly. I brought my point-and-shoot camera and we had a great time.

What made the evening fun too was that we went out to dinner with a larger group of friends including my mom, aunties, and my mom's friends. We had margaritas and they gave me silly lingerie and made me wear a sparkly tiara and beauty pagent sash. They pretended to give me advise on how to be a "good wife". It was awesome. It was more about the friendship and felt more like a birthday party than a bach party. We went to a bar afterwards with just my sister and a few BMs. We had a few drinks and goofed off... dancing whenever the band played Journey.

I'd do your best to find that last piece of party girl inside of you and have a good time. Goof off and get silly. You can do it without the excess alcohol and still have a great time. If you have to, try and get one of the other girls or a bartender to slip you a few "fake shots." Bartenders know how to make them. ;-)

Good luck!

Kelly where are you doing your party? I am going to Dallas (I live in Hou) for mine. My girls are planning going to N9ne and the GhostBar!

Are y'all going to Austin to go barhopping?

We are going up there Aug 9th. Thats not fair that they are planning it for you...in the wrong way! Give me their numbers...I'll tell them how its going down! LOL!!!

If you do the Ghost Bar maybe you can do a whole day of it...I mean you can stay in W hotel and they have a spa and all sorts of relaxing stuff...then take the elevator up to the bar later in the evening...it might be a suggestion to throw at them so that way its a little of both of your ideas???
