You sound like me! I had no interest whatsoever in bar hopping and getting completely hammered at my bachelorette party. Which was difficult to convey because my sister (who's 6 years younger than me) was doing the planning and she still loves
that kind of partying.
I wasn't looking forward to the night at all, and I just went with it and ended up being the one who drank a about 3 drinks and that's it. I almost ended up being the DD! Thankfully though, no one got ridiculously drunk and we all
had a good time being silly and giggly. I brought my point-and-shoot camera and we had a great time.
What made the evening fun too was that we went out to dinner with a larger group of friends including my mom, aunties, and my mom's friends. We had margaritas and they gave me silly lingerie and made me wear a sparkly tiara and beauty
pagent sash. They pretended to give me advise on how to be a "good wife". It was awesome. It was more about the friendship and felt more like a birthday party than a bach party. We went to a bar afterwards with just my sister and a few
BMs. We had a few drinks and goofed off... dancing whenever the band played Journey.
I'd do your best to find that last piece of party girl inside of you and have a good time. Goof off and get silly. You can do it without the excess alcohol and still have a great time. If you have to, try and get one of the other girls or a
bartender to slip you a few "fake shots." Bartenders know how to make them. ;-)
Good luck!
