my sister has pcos so i know a lot about it and we've done a lot of research. she is currently trying to get pregnant and has been on metformin (supposed to help the hormones) and provera (to induce periods) for 4 months. she is
about to start her first cycle of clomid (makes you ovulate) next month and will take it for 6 cycles, unless she gets preggo sooner.
many women with pcos successfully conceive and give birth to healthy babies. i know it's a bummer but don't get too down. i personally know 4 women who have pcos (not counting my sis) who all have babies, even though they had to be on
medication to make them ovulate in order to conceive. try to stay positive! it can happen for you, just might take a little more effort (medication) than others!
