Does anyone have a recommendation for a bakery that does wedding cakes in the San Gabriel Valley, preferably near City of Industry, Pasadena, Whittier?  Thanks!

I want to know too....better not too expensive. May I know how much does it usually cost for around 150 ppl?

I do have a good bakery in Ontario but they'll charge $70 to deliver (my venue is out of the range).  I may just have to bite the bullet and pay!

I highly recommend Porto's Bakery in Glendale.  Talk to Lourdes (Lulu) there... she's super helpful and she's been doing wedding cakes for 16 years.  She knows what she's doing.  :)

I'm checking out CAKEGoodness tomorrow in Valencia - they may be a bit too far.  I've heard great things about them!

My venue provides a cake from Portos.  I've had other food there and it's great.  Their fruit tart is the best.  I can't wait to do some tasting!

Hansen's, in Los Angeles off of Pico.  OMG their cakes are amazing!!!! We stopped by to check it out, I asked to make an appointment for another day they said we can do a tasting now.  They give us at least 10 different types of cakes to try, two of each flavor,one for each of us. They even gave us a box to take all of the left overs home, for free!

The best part is, a week later I unwrapped one of the samples and the cake was still moist.  I couldn't believe it. I can't wait to order my wedding cake from them.
