Any plus size brides out there wearing a ball gown??? If so, lets see pics (or if you have any examples!) I have a ball gown but I've heard sooo much that it adds bulk..I'll *hopefully get to post a pic tonight!! (plus i think my situation is different... i'm busty but don't have much of a butt/hips so I don't really think it adds any "unnecessary" bulk. We'll see...

Its more of a very full A-line rather than a rounder style dress, if that makes sense.

I had always pictured more of a ball gown on me, but when I tried them on I really didn't like what I looked like. I had wanted to wear Alfred Angelo's 758, but I tried on a few ballgowns at David's Bridal (the only local shop really.) I think I'm going to look into different styles now. Ignore the black bra please.

I'm wearing one. haha it's the one i fell in love with. It'll be just a bit more full once we fluff out the slip. p.s. I have huge hips and am busty but I still think it works, mostly because of where the waist hits me.

I have a ball gown with pick ups, i love it on me, and since the bodice is slimming it helps to.

I have a ball gown, but I need to have it altered still - I am turning it into a corset back so it will be much tighter on top...
