Bay Area ladies: Rehearsal dinner locations??

Any reccs?  We are having our rehearsal in Fremont, but could probably travel anywhere around there up to Pleasanton, etc.  Or if there is a really good place we could travel a little bit.  Thanks all!  I don't think there are any preferences in terms of type of food.

How many people are going to your rehearsal, and how formal is it?

For fun and informal rehearsals, maybe a really cute pizza party, or possibly bowling. You can do a lot of cute things with that, like turning mini pizza boxes into your invitations, or having round invitations that look like a bowling ball.

For large groups, maybe Elephant Bar or Cliffhanger(?).

Ardenwood Farm is really fun too. My sister's friends were married there.

Also, possibly try the Marriott for something formal.

thanks margaret that's a fun idea!  i think we're gonna be a little more formal, but not like super-formal.  i never knew ardenwood had a restaurant!  there's also a marriott around us too, so that could work.  wow now i'm excited!

Were having ours at Sodini's Bertoluccis in So.San Francisco. Homemade Italian food:)

We're having ours at Faz Pleasanton.  Their menu has a wide variety of food and the prices are great.  It's in the Sheraton Hotel (I think) and it's not too far from Ruby Hill.

I am very familiar with the area, here are some recs: Faz, Campo di Bocce, Eddie Papas (probably for smaller groups?), Stacey's Cafe (or Stacey's at Waterford in Dublin)...

I really wanted to have ours at Wente, since that was my first choice for a wedding venue. But FI's parents want to "surprise" us. Oh boy...

wow, thanks septbride and moe!!   i'll pass these on to FIL's.  they're in reno so struggling to find a place for us. 

FI and I use to got to Faz every sat night... *tear*
