When do you think is the perfect time to hold a wedding? I'm just curious to see what other people think, because awhile back I was discussing this with Margaret and I always thought the summertime was a popular choice, but she said September is actually the busiest month. And I'm starting to see that maybe fall is a better choice because so far I've been to one wedding per month (Margaret's in Sept, another friend's in October, and my old coworker is getting hitched on Veteran's Day next week). My bank account isn't liking me, haha.

haha... FI and i went to four weddings this year and already have four booked for next year (that includes our 'chinatown banquet' in boston)... and i've already had to turn someone down for 2008! haha. i think september is a beauuuutiful time of year for a wedding - no matter where you're at. i know east coast in september is one of the best months of the year. and socal, well... it's the same weather all year round hehe.

I think September is the prefect time! Not too hot but still get the great sky and weather.

I really liked July, so that's what we chose. As did my brother -- we're getting married three weeks apart! I was talking with my photographer yesterday, and he said the last week of July, the first week of August and Labor Day weekend are always what books the fastest.

I love the spring and that is when I am getting married. It helps with the cost of flowers too because the flowers I want all bloom in the spring here. My cousin loves September and that is when she wants to get married.

I'm chosing September as well for the not so hot, still kinda of summery feel to it. But the venue I wanted is booked on the date we picked. Now I'm torn...does anyone believe in the numerology thing? I mean, the date we picked didn't really have a meaning except it went with the song "september" by Earth, wind and fire. ha ha (which we want to play forthe processional)And our anniversary dates were not on a saturday, and 8/8/08 is a friday...grrrrr...help...need to find a new date. Anytime before May is too soon for me to plan a wedding...

We're having ours in the Fall, October to be exact! I think October's weather is a bit cooler than September, but for the majority of the month it's still warm too. I mean, it's already November and I still don't think the weather is bad. I think Spring & Fall are the most ideal months for weddings. Winter weddings can also be really pretty, it just might not be a good idea to hold a ceremony outside. Same thing with Summer, I wouldn't want to sit through a ceremony in scorching hot weather. The good thing about the off season months is that a lot of places offer discounts. So I come to the conclusion that any month is a good month to have a wedding!

I think September or even October would be nice....For me, July is too hot! I am getting married in May. It's a good idea though to have your wedding in the off season months...saves a lot of $$$!

I thought July might be too hot, but we're having it in the evening, so it shouldn't be so bad. You're lucky to have the price break! Most of the places I looked into only offered a discount between Nov-Feb, if anything.
