So I started trying to lose weight about a month ago, and I'm 10lbs down so far. I started losing my motivation this week, so I decided I'll start giving myself a goal every two weeks to hit. So basically every pay-day is weigh-day. lol.
Start: 180lbs
Current: 170lbs
The next 2 weeks: 166lbs
Goal Weight: 130lbs
Right now, I've been kind of sporadically working out, (elliptical for 30 minutes, 2 or 3 times a week, Body Flow classes at Gold's...). I've been eating fairly well when I was losing and then I ran out of groceries and got a little lazy. I've
been doing Special K or oatmeal in the morning, and then snacking on fruit until lunch where I'll have a turkey or chicken sandwhich or wrap, snacking on snap peas or something veggie until dinner which is salad or soup.
Every week on Saturday I go to the Farmer's Market (which I didn't get to last Saturday, hence no groceries for a week) and treat myself to a vegan chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting (ohhh love) from a Hey Cupcake airstream
trailer. I'm not vegan but they are ridiculously good!
Anyways, that's my schpeal, if anyone has any tips along the way, I'm open to them. I'm always in the need of easy lunches if I get bored of the sandwhiches and wraps.
