So I was really considering have blue in my cake but I was talking to a friend who was at a wedding with a blue cake and it turned everyone's mouth blue!  I know I would think it's hilarious a kinda fun but I also know that some of the guests may be appalled! 

I have since decided against it because I really have always loved a solid white cake anyways.

If I was at a wedding where the cake was blue, I would avoid it like the plague! :)  There are way to many pictures taken at weddings to risk being caught with blue lips or worse, teeth!

I have photos of my sil and I with blue frosting all over our faces... We're like the Blue Man Group :)  It was a lot of fun, nonetheless :)  It wiped off pretty easily too :)

I don't think I would mind... Even if I was the bride... Because I'll be wearing a bib anyway :)

If you use blue fondant instead of buttercream, it shouldn't turn everyone's mouth blue. And I personally think fondant can look BEAUTIFUL on a wedding cake.

I had blue fondant on my cake and I didn't see a lot of blue mouths.

(Well okay, a few but that was from the signature drink!)

If there was a blue cake being served, consider me first in line. Not cause it's blue, but because it's cake. Whatever color it is, consider me in! Cake! Cake! Cake! :D

My cake was blue buttercream and honestly I did not notice anyone that had a blue mouth or lips (myself included) and I ate a piece of cake- I loved my blue cake!

We has some blue buttercream cupcakes--they were eaten as much as the others and I didn't see blue mouths (and it was a vibrant blue)

oh yea Gonzo...that is def a vibrant blue!  So pretty!
