Totally interested in doing this for my FI as my wedding day gift so I could use some help.

Are you booking a b-session?  or have you already done one?  Who did you use? Cost?

All recommendations would be appreciated :) k thanks!

I won't be doing one, but I've been noticing a bunch of groupons and groupon-like deals for boudoir sessions.  Just keep an eye out!

Also, this page periodically has deals as well: http://deals.weddingchannel.com/deal/northern-california

Thx SanFran!!!  I haven't seen any Groupon deals :( but I made sure to sign up with weddingchannel like you suggested.  Much appreciated!!

I bought one (groupon) but have now decided against it as the photographer is booked up until after my wedding. Let me know if you are interested.

My Wedding photographer is doing mine : )

You might want to talk to your photographer! Some photographers don't mention this, and only do them if they are asked.  I'm doing min on April 16th.  My photographer is charging about $250, but I had to find a hotel to do them at which is an extra expense of $172.

Good luck!

I'm planning on doing my own with my digital camera (using the timer feature). I've been researching various poses and lingerie and props and such, and it helps immensely that I'll be going out of town in a few weeks and will have a hotel room all to myself. I'm getting lots of ideas from internet searches as well as the B-Pics Galore forum here at PW. I figure I'll just burn the images to a disc and give him that, unless I get brave and order prints online through Shutterfly or something.

Always be sure to discuss all details beforehand, but usually finding, securing, and booking a hotel room or a setting is dependent upon the client, unless the photographer has a studio, like Boudoir Divas in San Diego for example.

And now, our sponsored message:

If any of you ladies are available on 7/10/11, I've got a room at Hotel Valencia on Santana Row in San Jose that's waiting to be photographed in. Read more info here: http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/boudoir-portraits-at-hotel-valencia-in-san-jose-sunday-07-10-2011

@wondrinwhy - Have you done your photos yet? How did the self-timer thing work out? Hilariously enough, as a photographer, I've always had trouble with the self-timer on my point-and-shoot camera when there's no one else there to focus on. If I'm trying to take a photo of myself all alone, for example, the camera will automatically focus on the far background, which means by the time I hop in front of the camera, I'm a little off-focus (sometimes a lot off-focus).

Sorry if this just got a little too technical there. Just wondering how it worked out for you and whether you were able to make it happen.
