If a service member weather they are the groom or a groomsman is wearing their dress uniform at they wedding to they get one or not? This is the only place I could think to ask...

Thanks girls

I don't believe they are supposed to, because it is not considered part of the official uniform. Also, I don't really think it would look good or even have a place for one. Above the ribbons? Above the medals? It just doesn't seem to fit. Every military wedding I've been to, none of the servicemembers have worn them. HTH!

I know I read this same question somewhere else and I agree with Jenndover, no boutonnieres for those in uniform. You have to admit it'd look pretty funny to have a rose or some other flower lined up next to the ribbons and metals! haha

All of our groomsmen are mixed so those that are in tuxes will have them, but not the guys in uniform.
