So, I love the b-pic idea, but I'm not sure what DH would truly think. . .sure, he'd love the photos, BUT would he always think in the back of his mind 'oh dear, my wife got down and dirty like this in front of a stranger?'

What are your thoughts?

To those of you that gave your man a b-pic book, what did he think?  (I'm not talking initial reaction here. . .but rather after the fact)

Does he look at it or does it sit in the nightstand?

Just curious :)  Give us some dirt ladies, we want to know!

I was nervous about that for a sec too.. But my photographer is a girl.  So a bit different.

but...I am curious about the after math too! :)

I know right?  Like, what REALLY happens after all the initial b-pic 'omg face' he'll get?

Honestly, his jaw hit the floor when he first saw the book.  He gushed about it for days afterwards.  Now?  yup...it sits on the nightstand.  I mean, he gets to see the real thing everyday, there's not much need for the book ;)

LOl Biz - that's a GOOD point.

Although, just wait 10 years - he'll LOVE having it, and so will you I'm willing to bet on it :)

I was really worried about this as well...my husband can be a little more 'straight laced' than I am about some things.  I was worried he was going to be like "WHAT???? some guy took pictures of you like that???" I was so worried I waited until the wedding NIGHT to give it to him so he wouldn't hate teh photographer. hahaha

Turns out, he LOVED them.  I am a little self conscious about my body, but he is like, "see?  you are even more beautiful than those Victoria's secret girls..and now I have pictures to prove it".  He doesn't pull them out and look at them every day, but I like to think that when we are apart he takes them out to look at them.

you are SPOT on Mountain!!!  I can honestly say that book was just as much for me as it was for him.  I'm going to enjoy looking back after we've had kids and things have gown....south......and think "DANG...I looked goooooooood"

Stagis that is BEYOND sweet. . .

It makes me feel more like, 'yeah, I SHOULD do this' too because my DH is pretty straight laced too. . .

my fiancee is as straight laced as they get, he doesnt drink, he has never done drugs, but he LOVES the idea

honestly, it was sooooo liberating for me as well.  It was great to have someone (other than DH) saying, you look great! and taking pictures that really did make me feel beautiful.  Photographers know the best lighting and best angles...and the wonders of photoshop???  I can't say enough! hhahaa
