Hi all!

I got a BFP last Thurs... just for fun I've been taking a test almost every day since. All positive. Then at work tonight I went to the bathroom and saw brown blood (like at the end of AF) and a tinge of pink when I wiped. I was in the middle of an appointment so I couldn't really do anything about it, and I keep checking and the brown doesn't seem to be continuing right now, but there is a little brownish mucus like when you ovulate. I'm freaking out!!! Worst part is, my next (and first appointment to confirm pregnancy) isn't until Monday! Sorry for the TMI!!! I was using fertilityfriend to track my ovulating and BD and I'm guessing I'm about 6 weeks now. I know I've heard brown blood and flecks of (like old uterus lining) is normal in early pregnancy, but it's my first and I'm super nervous! SO far no cramping or pain either, just a slight pulling feeling in my lower abdomen whihc "What to Expect" book says could just be stretching ligaments to accomedate baby.

I did the same thing at six weeks, in fact I had red blood also. Honestly, I don't know anyone that hasn't bled at some point in their pregnancy. I wouldn't say it's normal but it's certainly common! Telling you not to stress about it is not going to help lol but stressing about it will keep the spotting from stopping. If you're still uneasy about it I would make a trip to the ER and they will probably check your levels and help set your mind at ease. I hope that everything will be ok :)

I heard that brown discharge is very normal and wven expected :) I personally did not have any discharge at all, but that was just me. Most girls here say they had it in the beginning. Larger amounts of bright red blood can be bad.

You should join the 2013 Baby Bump group here on PW :) That board is very active and many are in thd beginning stages of their pregnancy like you :)
