OMG my fellow JUNE BRIDES!!! I don't know about you, but I'm completely stress the F out about the budget. June is coming so soon and when I calculate the remaining balances, I realize that this is very real and very serious. I've been so good with the budget. I think I'm only a few hundred over budget but just knowing the "amount" we're dishing out is very overwhelming.

OMG, Jaryce!  It's totally hit me and I spaz almost daily about it.  I look at the bank account and how much we have, then I look at the balances due, and then I figure out what we'll have left after we pay everything off, and I FREAK!!!

I keep trying to find ways to keep everything under budget so we can stay on track, but then all of these unexpected NWR costs keep creeping up that cause us to dig into the wedding fund.  And the little stuff that we've chosen not to do (like bubbles or an extra flower arrangement on the escort card table) it's just that... Little Stuff.  So even if we choose to forego the tiny details, its' not like we're saving a huge amount.  I know everything adds up, but still.

oh lizzie lizzie lizzie. Thanks so much for responding. But here's the thing with me. I'm almost the opposite of you. Instead of taking away, I'm adding on more.

For instance: Our budget for cake was $1000.

We had 3 cake tastings.

1. 650
2. 998
3. 1400

And which one do you think we chose?...... yup, you guessed right!!!! The $1400 one. HA! Crazy girl! And it doesn't stop there.... the flowers that will be added is an additional $400

Another: our budget for flowers were $3000 but now we're paying $3700

I can definitely downgrade but can you believe my mom is the one who is telling me that I minus well pay the extra since I'm already going all out? YIKES! So when MOMS says this kind of stuff, I'm like, oh well, what the heck?! MINUS WELL!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!

I hear you. Its hard b/c I don't know who is coming and can't estimate in my head. I am going to just send invites out in feb which we will then be  3 1/2 months away. These people will have no choice but to let me know by april if they can come:)
