Check out Sugar Lump Cakery! They are local and offer beyond gorgeous cakes. Plus the pricing isn't too bad for the expertise you are receiveing!

My FSIL is getting married there in May! I'll ask her who she is using, and let you know!

I just want to caution all the PW brides about ordering from the French Gourmet.  We ordered a cake from them, then read in the Union-Tribune that the owner and pastry chef have been indicted for harboring illegal aliens, conspiracy, and other nasty things and the Federal Government is seeking jail time AND forfeiture of the bakery.  I've cancelled my order becasue I can't take the chance that my wedding cake MAY or MAY not be there on my wedding day because the governement has seized the bakery.  They say that they are still up and running and its business as usual with the bakery, but like I said...I'm not willing to take the chance.

OMG MrsBjorn that's horrible!  Thanks for the heads up!

As far as I can see, they are guilty of hiring illegals... It is worrysome that they may have their bakery taken/business affected but I also think theres worse crimes out there.  Here's a few articles:

I couldn't find the Union Tribune articles.  Shucks!
