Re: horrible cramps/stomach pain

I get this every few months where I am just rolling around the bed weeping in pain.  I have been to the doctor about it and know there is nothing they can do.  BC helped a little bit, but I got EVERY SINGLE SIDE EFFECT except for the blood clots, including making me psycho-level anxious and giving me migraines, and it wasn't worth it to feel that crappy all the time even against a couple hours of excruciating pain.

But here is the thing.  My mom had this same thing before she had kids, and now she has three and at least one of them was unintended.  Her mom had the same thing and she had six kids.  I have met many other women with similar experiences.  It seems to be something that goes away or at least improves after childbirth.  So I think your mom is off her nut with saying you won't be able to have kids!

Oh I got ya. Yeah it is still "wasting money", but you right. It's better than living in an apt.

Look at this too. What's gonna happen to ya'll when/if they decide to come back?

FI and I didn't go through this because we knew that his step dad wasn't leaving FI's mom. And his only daughter has a house that is much nicer than FI's step-dad's.

I'm still giving you HUGS!!!

@Lilivati - I know.. As sweet as my mother is, she tells me things that I just don't need to hear/know...  I hihgly doubt that I have this, so why all of a sudden "pretend your a doctor and tell me I do"? :)  It was just all too much when everything else was going on...

@Tktoups - They have a home in Wisconsin.  They built this cabin and go on vacation there many times.  And this has always been their plan after retiring.. To move up there..

On the plus side, it's a six hour drive... So... They will be pretty far away... Which is much needed on days like today :)

Aww, hugs to my Hammy!  I hope that pain was a one-time thing and you don't ever get it again!  And really, when it rains it pours, huh?

I agree with the girls that you may be better off renting a place even if it's smaller, just to get out from under their thumb.  That's not a fun place to be at all.  :(

Love ya, girl!

You wouldn't be throwing your money away any more in an apt/townhouse than you would be in their house!  Rent is rent!  They just don't want to find something else to do with the house after they move...they want you guys to take care of it for them (and pay rent).  And every time you change one little thing, they are going to be complaining about it.  And seriously, can't they just wash the sheets?  If they rent the house to you, you really don't have to even let them stay there, because it isn't "theirs" anymore.  And six hours isn't very long if you know you have somewhere to stay (for free and for as long as you want!) when you get there.

Sorry you are having so much pain.  It could be endo, but it might not be.  And yes, endo can cause you to not be able to have children, but those are only the most severe cases.  I have endo, and I got pregnant after trying 4 months.  So it isn't a childless sentence for most people that have it.  (Around 80% of women with endo get pregnant, compared to 90% in general.)
