This is one step in the process of making mini apple pies. OMG they are so freaking delicious!

I tried them out last night before I attempt them for a massive family Thanksgiving. They come from a blog that leaves out a few details, so if you try them out, feel free to get clarification from me (trial and error and all ;)

Next time I'm not going to follow her advice to just lay scraps of crust on top since it doesn't look very neat. I think I'll do a little lattice pattern instead.

We tried those last week, with mini pumpkin pies, too! We're making a ton tonight (2 dozen of each, yikes!) to take to the family Thanksgiving. They were so super tasty! We tried a lattice top but didn't have quite enough crust so the lattices were super thin and got really extra crispy. Tonight we'll make them wider!
