I don't know what it is called or if it exists, but if anyone would know it would be the PW brides! Think of an aisle runner but for a round table.  Kind of like a big round placemat for the center of the table that you can put your centerpieces on.

We're having a DW and I'm thinking of ideas for DIY recessionita centerpieces.  Our reception will be outdoors on the terrance by the beach.  My idea is to have white table cloths and a bunch of white hurricane candle and other candle pieces. I would like to add some color with these "round table centerpiece mats" but couldn't find them online.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?  Does this sound tacky?  TIA!

that's what I was thinking smoores but not sure if that's what she's looking for.  Do you want to it to only cover the top of the table, Indigo?

Kind of like an overlay but only covers the a part of the top. Like a smaller circle on top of the table.

Yeah depending on the size of your centerpiece I would just go look for round placemats (that are usually used as placesettings on a table) They might be big enough and are usually REALLY cheap. I get mine for $1/each at the Christmas Tree Shop
