I've been looking at some awesome ideas for centerpieces, without the use of flowers, and I think that I'm going to go that route with mine.

Any ideas or RL pics you can share?

I am doing the lampshade centerpieces. The flowers inside r going to b fake and water filled in side . The side flowers which r only a few will either b hydrangeas (first choice) or carnations.(budget friendly). I want my loft space to look just like the pic.

This is what we're using! They look sooo nice in person. Best part - they work out to under 4 dollars each!

I wanted to share this website, this is my inspiration for my DIY hurricane vases, I bought everything at dollar tree, and I just spent $78.30....I was super EXCITED:

I've been thinking about using candles too.

We're doing a candle centerpiece with a wide blue ribbon underneath as a runner across the whole table. I'm planning on buying votive candle holders of various sizes at places like goodwill, dollar store, and antique shops. Then I'm going to paint them with a frosted glass spray paint and use a rubber stamp with white ink to stamp different designs on them. I'll probably fill them with powdery blue candles.

This is what I have so far....I made those hurricane vases myself, so now I just twiddle my thumbs until I decide what I put inside the large one, lol

Random side note: this is my first post in any group I've joined! I looooooooove cupcakes, and I had an idea the other day to buy or make cake stands and make the cupcakes the centerpiece of each guest table! Mini-cakes would work just as well. I plan on DIY-ing cupcakes, so this would also save me a dessert table. Just a thought! :)

We're having a book/literary themed wedding, so our centerpieces will look something like this:

We re having a photo 2938357-1

The "books" are actually very nice storage boxes that open up. They will all be a mixture (no two will match). The top floral arrangements will be hung in the church on the ends of the pews during the ceremony, and then they'll be carried over to the reception and placed on top of the books.
