marrying 10/02/10

do any of you ladies know when the sun goes down?  i live in virginia.  i'm having an outside ceremony for about 30 minutes and was wondering if i start at 5-5:30..if it would be ok!  i don't want it to get dark!

not sure.  the weather has been weird lately.  try asking your venue? what time does it go down now?

our ceremony is going to start at 3:30 (im in NY), theres a couple reasons:

• We want to take pictures outside after the ceremony (should be over around 4) if the weather is cooperating
• we also want to take pictures outside at our reception venue a little later in the evening, but before the sun goes down
• i believe up here in NY the sun sets around 6:45/7:00 in the beginning of October

basically, i asked my photographers what they thought of the ceremony and reception start times as far as fitting pictures in inbetween and they thought it sounded good, so i based our start times around getting good lighting for pictures, since pictures will be all we really have afterward, its important to me to help my photogs as much as possible.

Im getting married in the OBX at 530 - hoping to get some good sunset pics after the ceremony!!

Here in FL in october it goes down at 6:49 ish but I didnt want it to be to dark so it starts at 5:30

our ceremony is at 1:30.... to make sure it is still warm in the mid-afternoon! : )

Our ceremony was at 3 and our photog was able to get a bunch of great shots of us while the sun was going down outside.  I'm dying to get the CD already!
