Who's up for a challenge??

Let's lose 10lbs by Valentines day!

Starting now, December 11th, Valentines day is 10 weeks away. 1lb a week is a reasonable, but challenging task. If you have less to lose or want to shoot for a different number, no worries, all are welcome in this challenge!

If you want to join post you plan on how you will reach your personal goal, and check in periodically to update the group on your progress. Using the supporting atmosphere of PW, we can help each other along as we reach our goals!

We can do this!!!

My plan:

  • Weigh myself weekly and post results here.
  • Count every single stinkin' calorie I put into my body using online tracking systems.
  • Do weekly measurements of my arms, waist, thighs, hips...etc
  • Work out at least 3 times a week, but ideally 4 or 5 times a week.
  • Drink all of my water every day.
  • Do not Drink alcohol-- limit myself to one night a week (oh man...)

I'm in :)

  • weigh in weekly, post results
  • keep a food diary, track calories
  • work out 3x's a week MINIMUM

I need to lose about 10 more lbs to be at my goal weight so hopefully I can stick with this :) I've lost 8lbs so far!

I'm definitely in.

My goal is at LEAST 10 pounds by then!  Hopefully 15. :D :D  My start weight is 183, so i easily should be to 173 by V-day.

Ditto to the above stuff:

  1. I'm tracking everything i eat online
  2. Drinking 48-64 oz water each day
  3. I've been working out 5-6 days everyweek
  4. weigh in weekly, post updates
  5. weekly measurements
  6. eating cleaner

My ultimate goal is for May 14, 2010, our 1 year anniv.  To be down to 140ish pounds by then!!  I'm 5' 7" so that's SKINNY for my build!!!!

@FutureMrs-- Great work on the 8lbs so far!!!

And GTBG-- My end goal is to be 140 by my wedding on May 15, 2010!!! So we're together with that one, girlie!! I'm only 5'4 so that is not as tiny for me, but I haven't been that weight since HS so im excited!!

Megster!! My wedding is May 13th :) I'm 5'4" and trying to get to 145-150 - that's my HS weight too!!

I'm in

- continue with couch to 5k (on week 5)

- track calories, writing everything down

- determind to NOT clear my plate on the Christmas lunches and dinners at work functions!  I can try it all but I can still have portion control!

170 as of this morning....160 here I come!

I am in! I joined the group some time ago but was always ashamed to even look in here. I have gained 15lb since my wedding in August! And MAN IT IS EMBARRASSING how powerless I am in front of chocolate covered anything and other junk lately. 

As of right now I am doing my best not to gain anymore - I am working out 2-3 times a week and rarely eat out. We cook 3 meals a day from scratch at home most days of the week. But I really need to stop drinking alcohol and eating junk I can sneak at work. Valentine - is our elopement anniversary and I would love to fit in to my elopement dress! 

-I will keep working out 3 times a week but add morning jogging/walking.

-try not to eat junkie free snacks at work - only what I bring with me from home 

-answer "NOOOOO!!!",when at 9pm DH says: do you want to split another chocolate?

Please help me, power of PW!
