It's true - anytime you do something distinctive and different with a wedding dress, like the one-shoulder thing, you run the risk of it being regrettable later...and yet, TOO classic can be too boring!

Have you checked out www.thefrock.com? Their bridal section has an interesting collection of vintage designer gowns.

Oops...sorry--just looking through the gowns and I'm not seeing a ton in crisp white...maybe not the most useful rec. Sorry!

hey chowbaby! Thanks for the suggestion though, you never know when something may come up and I had never heard of that site! They have amazing dresses, who cares about a wedding I'm always looking for new places for gowns! Ugh speaking of which I tried on the most amazing vintage Oscar de la Renta a couple weeks ago, it was cream with black lace details... I seriously thought to myself who cares about the wedding I need an excuse to wear this dress... sadly it wasn't meant to be, a little too small.

Anyone who was admiring the Reem Acra bluebell dress should look at this one!

Fun :) I've been digging into some fantastic crafting/knitting/sewing blogs recently and I found the link to the Frock through this site--there's a TON of links to other dress sites (many vintage)--enjoy!
